Our mission is to glorify God and make disciples by inviting our diverse community to grow in relationship with Jesus and one another.
Our Beliefs
At Maranatha Baptist Church, we joyfully affirm the Baptist Faith and Message 2000. We believe the Bible is God’s inspired and trustworthy Word, revealing His plan of salvation through Jesus Christ. We worship one God in three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—and trust in Jesus alone for salvation by grace through faith. The Holy Spirit empowers believers to live holy and fruitful lives. We are a community of baptized believers called to worship, grow, serve, and share the gospel. We affirm the sanctity of life, the biblical design for gender and sexuality, and the covenant of marriage between one man and one woman. Men and women are equal in value and created with distinct roles that reflect God’s design for the family and the church. We look forward to Christ’s return and live with hope, purpose, and a mission to make disciples of all nations.
